Join Inward Bound this summer for an 12 day exploration of transformational Jewish Wisdom. Jews today deserve to understand the quantum difference that Jewish wisdom can make in their lives. At Inward Bound, we empower Jews to experience this wisdom by sharing a Judaism that is relevant, profound, spiritual and joyful.
Inward Bound participants experience how Judaism enriches every aspect of their daily lives — intellectually, emotionally, spiritually and even physically. They discover that Judaism is compelling, uplifting and invigorating, while giving them a vital sense of purpose, and the tools to succeed and achieve greater heights in their lives.
Our inclusive, multi-dimensional approach offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere where participants from all backgrounds feel comfortable and spiritually nourished. The Inward Bound curricula and method address the needs of all Jews – from those with little or no formal Jewish education, to affiliated and observant Jews – who yearn for the spiritual spark that can ignite their souls.
The Inward Bound program is designed to give the participant a sophisticated and holistic understanding of the major concepts, principles, and practices of Judaism. By examining these concepts principles and practices from a foundational level, the participant will gain an understanding of how all of the various aspects of Judaism fit together in an integrated spiritual whole.
Because these foundational aspects of Judaism are so often overlooked in all branches of Judaism, we tend to get people on the Inward Bound program from every background across the spectrum. Our students range from the young person with no Jewish background fresh off of a Taglit/Birthright trip to people who have advanced Jewish day school or yeshiva experience.
